Students Embrace Creation on Dominican Wilderness Journey

Madison, Wis. (July 24, 2025) – In June, a group of 13 staff and students from Ģý and Dominican University embarked on a journey of faith, courage, and discovery on the Namekagon River in northern Wisconsin. A collaborative experience between the two Sinsinawa Dominican sponsored institutions, the second annual Dominican Wilderness Immersion provided a supportive environment for students from all backgrounds to learn about, and practice, our shared values of study, prayer, community, and service in the beauty of the outdoors and rhythms of Creation.

Women’s Golf Achieves National Academic Honor

Madison, Wis. (July 16, 2025) – The Ģý women's golf team received a top academic honor from the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WCGA). The WGCA, based in Coral Springs, Fla., announced its Academic Top 25 teams on Wednesday. The Eagles checked in at second in Division III with an impressive 3.879 GPA.

New Name, Same Mission

Madison, Wis. (July 1, 2025) – Ģý proudly raised the new flag above campus for the first time at a brief ceremony this morning. “In January of this year, we announced that Ģý College will be renamed Ģý. That day has now arrived,” President Manion, said. “The change comes about as we approach our centennial year, and as we continue to expand the reach of our mission as a Catholic institution of higher education in the Dominican tradition.” The President spoke to an energized group of students, faculty, staff, and several Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa – the sponsoring order of Ģý.

New Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia Program Launched

Madison, Wis. (June 18, 2025) – Ģý is pleased to announce the launch of the Doctor of Nursing Practice: Nurse Anesthesia (DNPNA) program. Designed to prepare highly skilled, compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), this advanced practice degree equips graduates to provide safe, comprehensive anesthesia care across a broad spectrum of healthcare settings. The three-year hybrid curriculum begins with a blend of online and in-person coursework in the first year, followed by intensive clinical practicum experiences in years two and three.

Dean’s List and Semester Honors Announced for Spring 2025

Madison, Wis. (June 11, 2025) - Ģý has named the students who have earned a place on the Dean’s List, or on the Semester Honors List, for the Spring 2025 Semester. Fulltime undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students who earn a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher are eligible for the Dean’s List after completing 24 credit hours of study at Ģý.

Nick Pasquarello Named New Director of Athletics

Jacob Gill Honored with 2025 Underkofler Award

Madison, Wis. (May 14, 2025) – Jacob Gill has been honored with the 2025 Underkofler Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award at Ģý. Gill serves as a Senior Lecturer in Business. “Jacob is a dedicated and passionate educator in the field of accounting,” Victoria Palmisano, Associate Dean of Business, Communication, and Innovation, said. “He exemplifies the highest standards of teaching, excellence, and mentorship.”
