Students Embrace Creation on Dominican Wilderness Journey

Madison, Wis. (July 24, 2025) – In June, a group of 13 staff and students from Ģý and Dominican University embarked on a journey of faith, courage, and discovery on the Namekagon River in northern Wisconsin. A collaborative experience between the two Sinsinawa Dominican sponsored institutions, the second annual Dominican Wilderness Immersion provided a supportive environment for students from all backgrounds to learn about, and practice, our shared values of study, prayer, community, and service in the beauty of the outdoors and rhythms of Creation.
